After starting up an Italian service in conjunction with GAMCO INTERNATIONAL SRL in Milan in 1980, we at Routex are proud that over a quarter of a century later we still work successfully with the same agents. Both GAMCO's founders have been succeeded by their respective sons who now run the company's operations in Milan.

Import Service from Italy

We operate at least two regular groupage departures per week from Milan to the UK. This service encompasses the major Northern industrial areas of Brescia, Bergamo, Padova, Turin, Piacenza and Verona and extends as far south as Parma and Modena.

Export Service to Italy

Each week, we also despatch several part load trailers, and operate a thriving groupage and part load operation to the same regions of Italy that we import from.

Oversize Loads from Italy

More than twenty years ago, ROUTEX inaugurated an operation transporting large out of gauge unpacked machinery from Italy to the UK. This specialized service, which began as by-product of the success with groupage shipments continues to this day and we are now recognized as leaders in the field and regularly move oversize loads from Italy to the UK and other destinations in Europe at highly competitive rates.
