Established in the 80's, Routex Logistics' import service from the USA and the Far East is the largest segment of the business. The same care and attention to detail is given to every consignment we manage, no matter how small or how large. Currently we load on a weekly basis from:

  • Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Charleston (South Carolina) in the US
  • Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzen, Hong Kong and Taiwan (Kaohsiung & Keelung) in the Far East.

Forward Distribution Services

Repack and forward distribution

These services were originally designed as tailor made solutions for some of our existing clients and have evolved to provide total logistic solutions. Routex now manage and administer several special containers each week, imported into the UK from American and Far Eastern locations. We re-label some of this freight, sometimes re-packaging it completely, and then we distribute it throughout Europe for our clients.

We also hold stock and stock records for clients and operate an efficient pick and pack service that has evolved from the same Far East and USA import services.

At Routex we keep abreast pro-actively with the full range of Customs Import procedures to ensure that our clients can meet the requirements of current legislation and can take advantage of concessions to which they may be entitled.
